It’s a little surreal, showing Peter around the new Oscorp building, considering everything else that’s been going on. The city is in chaos, the mayor is dead, everything’s upside down but... for a little while, Harry feels pretty damn normal, wandering through his building, showing his labs and his projects and his teams to his best friend.
“And this - This is my office.” Harry gestures around the room as they finally reach his office - it’s spacious, a glass-surface desk that couples as a screen and a hologram display when he needs it, a couch in the corner, another table for meetings, fancily placed decorative items here and there. The one thing he’d put up himself was the oil painting Jubilee made for him - it sits on the wall opposite his desk, so he can see it clear as day when he’s working. The whole office is bright as hell, sun streaming in through the ceiling to floor windows that encase the entire building.
He turns to face Peter, suddenly nervous. He’s rebuilt the company as what he wanted it to be this time, rather than just riding off his father’s coat tails, but he’s suddenly anxious to hear what Peter thinks of it all before Harry shows him what he’s been working on. “So.. what do you think?”
